ABOUT DANNY

Born and raised in Boston, Danny Wood is a founding member of New Kids On The Block — a songwriter, producer, and performer whose voice has been part of the group’s sound since 1984. Beyond the stage, he’s built a life around music, fitness, and giving back.

At the heart of that work is his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Wood. After Betty passed from breast cancer in 1999, Danny turned grief into purpose. Her love and strength became the spark for Remember Betty — a foundation dedicated to easing the financial burden for breast cancer patients and survivors.

Whether he’s on stage with NKOTB or raising funds in Betty’s name, Danny carries her memory with him — and invites fans to do the same.
